Say hello to them.
A mention and their name turn a generic notification into a welcome they can actually feel.
Welcomer turns the moment someone joins your community into a warm, memorable hello — with their name, your welcome channel, and a little bit of your brand.
Good communities are built in the tiny moments. Welcomer makes the most important one feel intentional.

Drop in your own banner, color, and copy. The bot is a blank canvas, not a brand takeover.
Choose whether new members receive a ping. It is your community — the greeting should respect that.
A welcome message is part welcome, part house sign, and part tiny bit of magic. Welcomer handles the mechanics so you can focus on the people.
Welcomer listens for a new community member.
Use your dedicated welcome channel or let the bot choose a sensible text channel.
Their name, your banner, and a message that says: you belong here.
Welcomer is deliberately small. Add it to Fluxer, give it a channel, and let it do its one job well.
Make a public bot in Fluxer and copy its token. Keep it secret.
Choose a community and grant only the permissions it needs.
Set WELCOME_CHANNEL_ID and let the first hello happen.

Good to know: Welcomer is Fluxer-only by design. It does not pretend to be a Discord bot, and it does not need a database to say hello.
Read the sourceStill curious? The README has the practical details, and the source is open for the curious.
Open the READMENo. Welcomer uses the official Fluxer JavaScript SDK and listens for Fluxer community member events. It is a small, focused Fluxer project.
Yes. The message, embed color, footer, and banner all live in the source. Start with the custom banner in assets/, then edit the message block in the bot entrypoint.
That is your call. Set WELCOME_PING=true for a real mention or false for a quiet, visual welcome with mentions suppressed.
Anywhere that can run the included Node.js service and make outbound connections to Fluxer. The project includes a Dockerfile and a lightweight /health endpoint for platforms such as Northflank.
The bot itself does not need a public web address. This project’s companion website is where a custom domain is useful; the service only needs outbound access and its health endpoint.
Invite Welcomer, pick a channel, and let the next arrival feel at home.
